What Google permissions does PlayQuizNow need?

PlayQuizNow requests read access to your Google Classroom courses and rosters, and write access to create coursework (assignments) and post grades. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings.

How do grades sync back to Google Classroom?

When students complete a quiz, their score is automatically posted as a draft grade on the corresponding Google Classroom assignment. Teachers can review and return grades from the Classroom grading interface.

Can I assign quizzes to multiple classes at once?

Yes! After connecting your Google Classroom account, you can select multiple courses and assign the same quiz to all of them in one step.

What happens if a student is not enrolled in my class?

Only students enrolled in the Google Classroom course can access the assigned quiz via Classroom. They authenticate through Google SSO, so non-enrolled students cannot see or complete the assignment.

Can I disconnect Google Classroom later?

Yes. You can disconnect at any time from your PlayQuizNow settings. This revokes the OAuth connection. Previously synced grades remain in Classroom, but no new grades will be posted.

Is there a Google Classroom Add-on available?

We are working on an official Google Classroom Add-on for the Google Workspace Marketplace. Currently, the integration works via OAuth connection from your PlayQuizNow dashboard.
